Your cats are very special members of the family and I know how hard it is to leave them behind. In-home cat sitting is a low-cost alternative to boarding, ensuring your cats stay calm, happy and healthy while in their own environment and without any disruption to their usual routine.
Visits are a minimum of 30 minutes and begin with an affectionate greeting from me. Then your cats are fed and I take care of the litter box. For the remainder of the time I give your kitties lots of love and attention including playtime or just hanging out. Visits are catered specially to the needs of your cats! The service I offer is much more than just putting out food and water but providing fun and enjoyable company for kitties while their people are away, as I feel that's equally important. I am very blessed to have a wonderful connection with cats and bond with most of them quickly, putting them at ease.
And as many folks (myself included) regard their cats not as pets but their "furry kids", I consider taking care of yours not just a pleasure but a great privilege, and always strive to give 100% to every animal in my care, treating them with love, compassion, and the utmost respect.

About Kat Courtney
Since a very young age I've loved animals and dreamed of working with them in some way but wasn't sure how; veterinary medicine was out of the question because I couldn't bear to see animals in pain. Years later, after many different jobs and obtaining an education mostly in healthcare (B.S. in human services and a nursing degree), I stumbled upon the idea of pet sitting. A friend told me that her boss traveled a lot and needed someone to look after her three cats and I thought, Wow, I could do that! And so I did, and I absolutely loved it. Then I looked into it further and realized that pet sitting was actually a thriving profession (with its own international association, no less), and I eventually took the plunge and started my own service. I decided to specialize in felines simply because I enjoy taking care of cats more than any other animal, finding them to be incredibly sweet, beautiful, mysterious creatures. This job has been the most rewarding of my life, thanks to the animals I've had the privilege of serving, and to all of them I'm incredibly grateful.
